Using the latest project management tools, remote desktop and file sharing, we thrive on efficiency and are structured from the ground up to work as efficiently as possible. These tools save you time and money, provide real-time access to data, and provide you with up to the minute project status reports. We are available on an interim and long-term basis and are available to all organizations nationwide.

HOW MUCH DOES A FRACTIONAL CFO COST?
Most fractional CFOs work on a monthly retainer ranging from $3,000 to $8,000 per month, with an average of about $6,000. While that is drastically more affordable than an internal CFO, it can be a commitment that is out of reach for many organizations. Stiles CFO Services does not work on a retainer. We bill hourly for our work, so our clients only pay for what they need. This allows us to take on projects large and small and for any organization.
MY BUSINESS IS VERY SMALL, CAN I AFFORD A FRACTIONAL CFO?
Every organization needs a financial leader. Even if they are only engaged a couple of hours per week, a strong CFO can provide invaluable decision-making support. Stiles CFO Services has no minimum engagements. The better question is, can you afford not to?
CAN I HIRE YOU FOR JUST A SHORT-TERM ENGAGEMENT?
Absolutely! While other firms will require a monthly retainer and large commitment, we offer the flexibility to help you just where you need it.
CAN I HIRE YOU TO LONG-TERM?
Absolutely! While we love assisting with short term projects, the real value of having a CFO will come from a long term relationship. We want to be your long-term partner and be at your side on your journey.
CAN'T I JUST HIRE MY CPA FIRM TO DO THE BOOKS?
Of course you should hire a CPA firm... to do your taxes and complete your audit. Accounting is a very wide field with a lot of specialty subsets. Taxes, audit, cost management, financial analysis, personal finance, IT, the list goes on! CPAs are great at taxes and audits, but lack experience working as a controller or CFO, understanding operational efficiency, or focusing on profitability metrics.
WHAT MAKES STILES CFO DIFFERENT?
Our unique approach starts with creating your custom CFO Blueprint. This Blueprint identifies the 21 "Critical Financial Operations" that exist in every organization. From there, you decide how much or little you want to implement. We then start our engagements with the end in mind, seeking definite solutions to your finance and accounting concerns.
DO YOU PREPARE TAXES?
Stiles CFO Services is not a CPA firm and does not prepare tax returns. We leave that to the experts, and your current CFO/Fractional CFO should do the same. Tax laws are incredibly complex, industry specific, and change regularly. We strongly advise all organizations to seek a qualified CPA firm to handle their tax returns and develop a tax strategy. Of course, we work right along side our clients to make this a seamless experience.
